Length:

The assignment must be between 2000-2500 words in length. Two points
Cover sheet:
will be deducted for the essays that are +/- 200 words.

The assessment must include a cover page that contains your name,

student number, resident campus, assessment title, and lecturer and/or
Style:
tutor.
The assessment must double-spaced; 11 Point; Times New Roman.
References:
The assessment must include 20 academic references. You must use the

APA reference style.
Task Description:
The objective of this essay is to demonstrate you understanding of an

areas of literature and reflect and describe the significance of the topic

for you current or past work experience.
Section one: In this section you may choose to write a literature review

on one of the following topics: Organizational Communication and

Culture; Organizational Communication Networks; or Organizational

Communication Technologies

Section two: In this section you will talk about the significance of the

1.    Introduction (~200 words)

a.     Opening statement that introduces the topic

b.    Background information that introduces the context, significance and the purpose of the essay
c.     Preview of the structure of the essay






d.    Thesis

2.    Literature review of one of the chosen concept (~1000-1300 words)

a.     Your literature review should begin with an introductory paragraph that provides a general overview of the area upon which you are focusing and the objectives of the literature review.

b.    Within the body paragraphs you will need to explain and evaluate the conclusions/methods/interpretations presented within your sources and then discuss how they are similar to, different from, or build upon one another.

c.     Lastly, your literature review will need a concluding paragraph that states the conclusions that you have draw

d.    Transition to the conclusion

3.      Application to workplace (~500 words)

a.     Describe and explain the significance of the topic for you current or past work experience.

4.    Conclusion (~100 words)

a.     Synopsis of the areas discussed in the essay

b.    Restatement of the thesis statement

c.     Capstone statement that signals that the essay has ended.
