Assessment 2 - Systems Design and Development

Assignment 2 is a group assignment (Max of four students in a group). Your course knowledge gained about how to model the system requirements in both the object-oriented and traditional system analysis approaches will be assessed through the tasks in assignment 2. You need to submit a design of a website. You are to complete the following task in the order given based on the case study provided to you on Moodle: 

1. Find out all Critical Use Cases

2. Draw Context Level diagram.

3. Draw Level 0 data flow diagram depicting all the business process description provided.

4. Draw ERD showing all required entities and its relationships.

5. Draw CRUD diagram.

6. Identify and provide all the required data elements you will need for your data entities for the case study provided.

7. Provide a prototype of website design and architecture you have developed based on the case study.

8. Details of individual group members contribution towards the development of the project.

1.Introduction

Introduce about the case study and current stage of the project.

Identify the aims of the report.

2.Use Case Diagram

Provide your design of User Case Diagram in this section, with appropriate description and justification in relation to the case study and System Analysis and Design literature.

3.Context Level Diagram

Provide your design of Context Data Flow Diagram in this section, with appropriate description and justification in relation to the case study and System Analysis and Design literature.

4.Level 0 Data Flow Diagram

Provide your design of Level-0 Data Flow Diagram in this section, with appropriate description and justification in relation to the Context Diagram in the previous section and the case study.

5.Entity Relationship Diagram

Provide your design of ERD in this section, with appropriate description and justification in relation to the case study and System Analysis and Design literature.

6.CRUD Diagram

Provide your design of CRUD (create, read, update, delete) in this section, with appropriate description and justification in relation to the case study and System Analysis and Design literature.

7.Prototype of website design

Provide screenshot of your prototypes (web pages, forms, reports, etc.…), with appropriate description and justification for the appropriateness of the design in relation to the case study and literature.

The content should cover major features of your system and enough details for reader to understand how your system works.

8.Group Member Contribution

Details of individual group members’ contribution towards the development of the project.

A table listing task performed by members and contribution is needed in this section.

Individual group member need to write one page towards their own contribution for the development of the project

9.Conclusions

Add your work of conclusions with a summary of your project, as a paragraph here.
